April - British Collapse
By April Fool's Day, 1st and 10th Armies have reduced their respective pockets and bagged a million enemy soldiers. What remains of the Allied presence in Europe stages a last-ditch defense in the foothills of the Scottish highlands:

1st Panzer Group has been redeployed to East Anglia, where it readies for a seaborne end-around into north Scotland to envelop the Allied forces from the rear. The Wehrmacht continues to make progress, but movement and supply is increasingly difficult in the uneven terrain:

But 10 days later, with Edinborough captured, the UK succumbs:

And with that, Europe belongs to the Reich. We assume control of England, although the British government-in-exile continues to operate bases in northern Ireland and assorted islands in the region (Orkney, etc.). These will have to be reduced, as the US continues to use them as forward operating bases for its naval effort.
